Gardner Historical Museum
The settlement of
Kansas and many states to the west
have long played a very important role in the history of reverse mortgages.
The Gardner Historical Museum of Reverse Mortgages was created about two years ago. The museum is purely dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of the history of reverse mortgages. Our mission is to create a historical and accurate record of reverse mortgages from its inception until its present stage and form. By fully documenting the historical conception and evolution of reverse mortgages we hope to be the number one source of all information pertaining to the history of reverse mortgages.
Our museum is located in Kansas, USA and is the first of its kind. Our financial records of the transition of reverse mortgage industry from its start includes replicas of important documents, pictures, photographs and accounts of important incidents and people in the history of reverse mortgage. With over 50 exhibits on display the Gardner Historical Museum of Reverse Mortgages is truly a financial and historical library.
The museum is located a short distance from the bustle of the main town and easily accessible by road. For students, financial and mortgage specialists, the Gardner Historical Museum of Reverse Mortgages is an educative place to visit. Years from now we want to still be the number one source of accurate historical information on reverse mortgages.
Our exhibits and items on display are derived after extensive research into reverse mortgage history. We have traveled and continue to travel to seek information and important reverse mortgage items to put on display and update our records. Tracing from the first semblance of present day reverse mortgage that appeared in Great Britain down to its appearance in other parts of Europe we are well informed and so are our visitors after a tour.
With its first appearance in America through books, monogram, legislation and famous speeches pertaining to reverse mortgage, we have carefully documented important and relevant parts from the history of reverse mortgage. We even have an exhibit dedicated to the relatively new appearance of RM sites on the internet. In parlance with preserving and exhibiting the history of reverse mortgages, we are unparalleled and our vision is to remain so.
